Patients who meet Dr. Sajid for the first time tend to describe her the same way — warm, social, and highly methodical in her work. She is a firm believer in going the extra mile to make patients comfortable in the dental chair, and it shows in who her practice attracts: a large share of her patients had been avoiding dentists for years before they walked in.
That combination matters more than it sounds. Plenty of dentists are technically excellent and leave you no clearer about what is happening in your own mouth. Dr. Sajid explains what she sees on the X-ray, what she would do about it, and what happens if you wait — and then lets you decide.
Dr. Sajid takes numerous post-graduate courses every year, driven by the belief that standards of care improve through new technology and continued study rather than repetition of what was taught a decade ago.
She earned her Fellowship certification through the International Dental Implant Association and is a certified Invisalign provider. Her practice covers comprehensive exams, endodontic root canal therapy, periodontal services, wisdom teeth extractions, implants, whitening, veneers, Invisalign, advanced crown and bridge procedures, and full-mouth reconstruction.
Dr. Sajid enjoys forming long-term relationships with patients and their families — treating parents and children in the same week, and following them through braces, wisdom teeth, first crowns and eventually their own children.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Santa Clara County Dental Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Away from the office she travels, spends time with her husband and daughter, and — most recently — dances salsa.
